1969 Triumph TR6 up for auction. This is a very collectible, desirable, and iconic British convertible roadster. Starts and drives with the classic sound of an inline 6 cylinder engine. The Factory Overdrive allows for enjoyable cruising down highway speeds. Both carburetors were recently been refurbished with new parts. The tires are Avon 185-15 with still over 50% tread left.This is a totally rust free car that resides in the dry climate of the Central Valley of California. This TR6 is good example of an early first year British Racing Green Triumph designed by Karmann of Germany equipped with the Rostyle Hubcaps that were used in the TR4's, TR5's and TR250's. Car includes 2 tonneau covers and a spare tire. The car is also optioned with a roll cage and both front and rear bumper Amco grill guards to protect the vehicle. Equipped with an Alpine AM/FM/CD stereo with removable faceplate. This TR6 went through an early restoration approximately 10 years ago with new wooden dash (not laminated), new upholstery, new carpets and top. All the hydraulics were replaced including clutch. Instrument cluster and lighting are all functioning even the horns. This car is not a #5 condition with paint chips, minor bumper pitting, and some rubber cracks, however it is a very reliable and fully functioning driver car.
