1991 Mustang GT 5.0 Hatchback Rust Free Very very original AZ CAR pretty amazing find NEW LOWER RESERVE let everyone bid to win near the end ! Heres an idea, DONT BID UNLESS you are a REAL BUYER IF You have less then 10 feedbacks, you have to email me if you bid on the car. If you dont, we will cancel it. IF we email you to check your sincerity on buying the car and dont get a reply within 24 hours.. You will be cancelled and blocked too from bidding. The sad part is, I still remember when these cars where new on the streets. Our shop was like most others, these cars got bolt on after bolt ons and the mods never stopped.... well on MOST of the GTs cleaning up the streets, ....well this one flew under the radar. BRIEF DESCRIPTION: you are looking at an very unmolested 91 Mustang GT Hatch Great color combo and desirable car. I opened my performance shop in 1990 and we must of modded every 5.0 in Tucson for half of the decade. Somehow this car was left untouched, and after driving it around a bit, why even bother with success ? Let me list out some pros and cons. PROS: Arizona rust free car since as far back as we can track, and no doubt this car has never seen snow or salt etc. The dry Az climate has been its friend. Garaged kept car, paint looks to be all original, no perfect but original, thin in a few spots but a survivor. Untouched under the hood as far as mods go. Check out the pics, even the silencer is still in the fenderwell. NO accidents, rust of bondo to worry about. Car runs and drives nice for its age. Presentable interior. Odometer shows aprox 150k on it and you wouldnt think so if you saw the car in person. Its somewhat of a time capsule. Stock factory RADIO still there and works ! No wiring fiascos or old alarms to deal with. GT Taillights swapped out for LX (could be a pro or con haha) Larger factory looking 3 core radiator. DRIVERS side seat does not have the usual lean from broken brackets or cracked floorboard. CONS: AC blows cool, not cold. Both outter door handles broken, but usable. Id personally put on the 85-86 Black metals ones in their place when fixing them. Very minor hail damage to the hood and roof area, for Az surprising but it happens here on rare cases. Needs tires all around. Front end feels a little loose, it could just be the old tires or possibly need tie rod ends or something. Speedo jumps around and makes a clicking noise, but odometer looks functional and correct. 150k aprox on the car. Tailpipes have been changed to exit under the doors Mufflers may be turbo style, pretty quiet. OE style rear exit tailpipes would prob be my first mod to give this car a factory look again. 1 broken Hella foglight glass. Original interior showing a little worn, but looks nice for its age. Some fading too. Door weatherstipping dr side mostly worn. Most of the cons are pretty minor and could be fixed in a weekend. I MAY DROP THIS OFF AT MY FRIEND SHOP ON MONDAY TO SEE WHAT ITS GOING TO TAKE TO GET THE AC COLD and Fix the speedo and a few things Ill keep you posted or email for the updates !! Ill update the ad too if things Progress. DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND, apparently some people who use ebay arent smart enough to understand the rules. So if you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid. Up for Auction: LOW FAIR RESERVE !!! These cars are getting harder to find esp in this condition that are still affordable to most buyers. DRIVETRAIN: the engine bay and motor are very clean and looks pretty close to how it must of looked when it left the showroom. Only mod I noticed was the better 3 core radiator when the original finally cracked a few yrs ago. The motors had better then avg oil changes and regular tune ups and parts replaced as needed. I cant see one bolt on mod or usual mod done to this car like most over the yrs. Even the stock air silencer is still in the fenderwell. The FORD AOD works and shifts great like factory as well. Rearend stock limited slip still works like it should. Quad shocks still in place out back. No smoke or weird noises from the motor. Starts easy and runs great. INTERIOR: take a look at the pics, the factory Red interior shows pretty well for its age and has held up well too. It has some stains and could prob use a good cleaning to make nicer, but great for a daily. Headliner okay too. Door panels have been modded after the map pockets came loose. Seats have some power option, PW all work well but the driver side rattles a little. Prob needs new weatherstripping along the belt line area too. EXTERIOR: the body pretty straight for its age, and original paint is a nice touch. Not a spec of rot on this cars body. Factory ground effects are also in pretty good shape for their age. Some black painted trim could use some touch up. GT taillights where swapped out for LX units yrs ago. If you look closely, you can see some evidence of minor hail damage from a storm that his Tucson 2 yrs ago. Mostly noticeable on the roof and hood area. Front plastic windshield cowl is broken too. Windows have been tinted for many yrs. Only real body damage to point out, and its hard to see in the pics, we posted some from different angles, the DRIVER SIDE, ..between the door jamb on back the car looks like it swiped against a pole or something at one time. Its pushed in off and on back past the wheelwell. So please look for it in the pics ! SUSPENSION: the suspension look from what I can see looks and seems very original and stock. Tires are very worn. Again, front end feels a little loose, but luckily these are very simple and easy front ends to rebuild if it needs it. PS works well. It may need some bushings or tie rods, not exactly sure. Id put the tires on first and check out the rest of the stuff just to be safe. Brakes feel great. Check out ALL the pics below -----> it may take a full minute for them all to load if you have a slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll bar on the right side. Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate. more info AFTER the pics etc. There are 100 large pics. There you have it, probably The BEST represented Stangs on Ebay. Shows you all the good as well as any bad, hope you appreciate them. We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars and it shows. People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks on end. Having as much as the original steel on a restored car these days speaks volumes. Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what sort of surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating. People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers. Email us with ANY questions before you bid please Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as much feasibly possible via pics. Dont let auctions with little to no pics try to fool you. If they cant take the time to take pics of areas under the car they are selling, maybe its not the best car to buy long distance. With other auctions, you really dont know what to expect until you take the car apart. While we go over our cars ALL OVER with great pics to help making your decision easier. Along with ANY other questions you may have. Email me for a quote for shipping. CA TITLE IN HAND - pink slip Keep in mind, this is not a restored car !! CAR MUST BE PICKED UP WITHIN 14 days of auctions END ! we can no longer store cars for anyone !! Unless other arrangements have been made before auction ends. IF you need a shipping quote, just email us with your city/state and Ill find out our best quote for you !! No problem helping it to the docks if you are shipping overseas . If you have to wait for the title to ship your car, it still needs to be paid for and shipped from our holding lot as mentioned in the ad. When we get the title for it, we will fedex it to you.
