*****NO RESERVE****Offered for sale is this very well preserved 2002 BMW 525IAT sport wagon. This car was sold new at Allison BMW in the heart of Silicon Valley and it has always been a California car. As a result, rust is out of the question. The car appears to have been garaged all of it's life as the paint is in very good condition and well above average for the age. It is shiny and lusturous, however there are a few minor blemishes most notably on the front passenger door and the hood. They truly are minor and hard to notice at all from most angles, but I must mention them in the interest of full disclosure. The exterior color is Sterling Gray and the interior is a light, or dove gray. This car came pretty much loaded from the factory. It has the premium package option along with the very rare (for the year) park distance control, rear door sunshades, Xenon headlights and Steptronic transmission which allows you to drive the car in automatic or manual shifting. All of these options boosted the car's price by $7000. The car is a dream to drive. I recently replaced a blown tail light and put rear brake pads on, and at the moment, the car needs nothing! The cooling system is relatively new. The tires are close to new. The only potential issue that the next owner will need to concern themselves with is that the tailgate struts occasionally do not keep the tailgate lifted, and to be pro active, I bought a new set of struts. However, the tailgate has been staying lifted with the original struts still in place, so I have not installed the new struts. They will, however, transfer with the car. Other than that, the car is turn key. Finally, the car has all of the original books and even the original window sticker. One remote key in excellent shape and a secondary key in poor condition yet it still works, and both will come with the car. Please ask any and all questions prior to placing a bid.
