On offer is a 1980 CX500 Custom, with a monoshock conversion, relocated electrics and AGM battery, new ignition coils, new Mikuni carburetors with the full murrayf treatment: Custom manifolds, specified pod air filters, the whole kit completely set up and balanced by Murray to his own spec, a custom exhaust with twin shorty megaphones, SS brake hose, Larry's fork upgrade, new tires and battery. This CX500 stone rips and sounds like an outlaw small-block Chevy doing it. Very snappy, but a comfortable all-around riding position and a lot of fun for Saturday nights in town or Sunday out on the back roads. The stock Custom tank is very presentable in factory red/gold/brown colors. The motorcycle is currently registered in Vermont. Thanks to a recent change in state law, a title can be easily obtained for a consideration prior to sale.
