I bought this bike new in August 1978 from Honda Of Boston on Commonwealth Ave. In 1987 I sold it to a fellow firefighter. He rode it off and on for 20 years when I re-acquired it from him. Currently not running. The Vetter Windjammer SS fairing, lowers, radio, highway bars, AAA rack and adjustable sliding backrest were added when I bought the bike. The Vetter Saddlebags and Tour Box were acquired online a few years back. With more motorcycles and scooters to ride than the time to ride them it's time to sell. The front master cylinder and 0 miles Metzler tires are relatively recent. The water pump was changed at 8900 miles.The seat and backrest viny is still soft and crack free, possibly due to the bike always being in a garage. The Candy Grandeur Blue paint is in good overall condition, with a few scuffs both on the bike and accessories. There is some flash rust here and there. The front fender has a something fell on it ding. Most of the original tool kit and pouch is there. I am including a Clymer and Haynes Service Manuals. The bike battery needs replacing but using a power pack it did crank. I also have keys for each lock on the saddle bags, trunk box, ignition and the fairing compartment.Although there is some surface rust on the original mufflers they are solid without any rot. There is a slight dent on the left muffler heat shield.
