Vehicle Detail

MZ was a legendary German motorcycle company that was founded in 1906. MZ, which actually stands for Motorradwerk Zschopau, changed its name to DKW in 1923.In 1948, the company changes its name once again, being renamed to IFA.After a new name-change in 1956 to MZ, the company introduced in 1962 the ES 125/ES 150 models.-MORE INFORMATION about this famous make can be read here; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MZ_Motorrad-_und_Zweiradwerk With its long muffler, bizarre front-forks and generally eccentric styling this 45 yr. old MZ Trophy model is probably the strangest looking bike that is currently for sale on eBay. Like the pictures are showing this very rare and also unorthodox German made* (*DDR https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_Germany ) m'cycle is after 45 years still in a decent condition. The 150cc motor starts at first kick/is running ever so nice & strong, where also the gearbox is shifting without any problem and everything on motorcycle works like should. The odometer reads 14806 km (9219 mile) only don't have any history to back this up. Like can be expected, the bike is showing after 45 years traces of use and age. Regarding parts, I can help you to the addresses of online sellers that are specialized in selling parst for this type of motorcycle, where basically everything is available against most decent money. Furthermore with the bike is a comprehensive copy of a shop-manual in English language (see images). This motorcycle comes with an official European Certificate of Origin (title), which official document will be issued in your name and states the make, model, VIN, year of manufacture, displacement, weight etc, plus an official bill of sale from my company here in Belgium. Furthermore I’ll make sure that all the correct export-paperwork will be in place before the bike leaves from here, which documents will make the process of importing it into the US an easy ride. -On this listing I’m offering a special (fully sealed) crate, careful packing and physical shipping from here in Belgium to a US CFS as close as possible to you at my expense, meaning that I will pay for having the bike crated and all handling etc. plus the ocean-freight charge, where you are responsible for all charges at your end, like entry-, port-, handling- and eventual (US) broker-fees etc.If you want any additional information about this, please ask before you place a bid. Furthermore, when you want to receive some better photo's of the bike/shipping, or want to recieve more information about this item, just let me know. I accept payment by credit-card, PayPal or wire. -Additional information to this listing; I only offer shipping by sea, where of course we can advise you on forehand about the process of importing the machine into your country and can help you to the contact-details of an ever so experienced US import-broker. When you are the high-bid buyer, I will ship this machine at my expense from here to one of the following Canadian destinations (container freight station-depot); -Calgary ALB-Charlottetown PEI-Edmonton ALB-Halifax, NS-Moncton NB-Montreal-Ottawa ONT-Quebec City QUE-Regina SAS-St. John's NF-Toronto Vancouver BC-Winnipeg MAN ..Or to one of over 60 US destinations (as close as possible to you), Or to another destination on this planet (please let me check whether I can ship to there before you place a bid). For Canadian buyers, check this link regarding importation; https://www.tc.gc.ca/eng/motorvehiclesafety/safevehicles-importation-1338.htm For US buyers, like can be read in the link, this antique bike is because of age exempt from US import-duty and EPA regulations; https://help.cbp.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/278/~/importing-classic-or-antique-vehicles-%2F-cars-for-personal-use The crate will safely sail in a sealed container and the shipment is fully insured for eventual damage/loss.I always pack vehicles myself, only use certified crates plus new packing-materials and deliver the crated machines in person at the Antwerp warehouse of the shipping-company (see images) Furthermore I pay for having every shipment insured against damage or loss during the complete process of handling and sailing. Of course I will inform you about the complete process of shipping and provide you all the information you need from the beginning on and send you pictures of the process of packing and actual delivery at the Antwerp port as soon as these processes are completed.
