Up for sale is a 1973 BMW 2002 in Riviera Blue. This 2002 is a California vehicle with no rust, only paint bubbling and cracking in a few areas and a few small dings and dents but nothing major. In great shape for the age, just needs love to bring it back to its full potential. The vehicle holds a salvage title which is how I bought it, and I have no idea why. Odometer reads 78337 but has not worked since I have owned it so the actual milage is unknown. It has been parked for approximately 6 years but will start, run, idle, drive and stop. Original 4 speed manual transmission has been replaced with a 5 speed and the car will cruise at freeway speeds with no problems. Battery has been relocated to the trunk and is brand new. Crane Cams electronic ignition. Interior is in fair condition, center console and column cover are disassembled but all pieces are present in the trunk, only minor cracking on the dash. Seats are also in fair condition with some fading and the passenger seat has a hole on the left side. Spedometer and fuel gauge are not working and the turn signal lever is broken. Both door locks and windows work. The wiring in the engine bay could be cleaned up and the power brake booster wiring needs to be redone. Three shop manuals included. This 2002 used to get compliments everywhere I used to drive it. I hate to see it go but I have too many projects and not enough time Buyer is responsible for organizing shipping from Orangevale, CA.
