The time has come... to list my k-bike...This machine is a bundle of fun, the K1200S is smooth and refined with a sort of 'whooshy' power that gauruntees when you look down at the speedo you will be going way, way faster than you realize. I bought this machine for long distance rides and the k-bike fits the bill perfectly, there is no better way to eat up the miles. This particular unit is a 2008 with 10k miles, barely broken in. She's bone stock except for the tinted wind screen and new shoes, its currently equipped with Michelin Pilot Road 3s front and rear which are almost new and have a great deal of life left in them. I put these on for more of a touring tire that wouldn't be toast after the first 100 miles like some softer units and haven't noticed any traction issues in the twisties. I have a tall clear windscreen that will come with the bike as well. The bike has always lived in a garage as long as I've owned it and has been dealer serviced by BMW of Denver, the dealership has also dealt with all of the factory recalls to date. The bike is in great shape with no known issues. Its never been down but does have a few very minor scratches and chips from standard road wear on the fairing. Ive tried to include pictures of these as best I can so theres no surprises, it really is in great shape. The bike has ABS brakes front and rear but thats about it as far as options, no heated grips or auto rear suspension adjust as I believe were options for this vintage. I do have a set of soft saddle bags and a tail bag that fit this bike nicely (and nothing else I currently own) so they will come with the bike as well if desired.
