I just moved to southern CA and purchased a used car for commuting for school/work, hence I am selling the BMW. I do not have any information regarding CA smog check for this car, as I am selling it and will not be registering it in the state. If you click on the history of the vehicle though you can see it has never had any issues passing the smog checks in WA. There is no check engine light on- It has a check engine light, but it is not on. The car is 23 years old so has usual wear and tear, I can not say it is in excellent condition as you can see from the pictures there is wear on the leather seats as well as the body of the vehicle with minor knicks and dings. Also not photographed (eBay wouldn't let me add more photos) is the gas pedal, which I removed to only use the knob under the pedal, I found it easier to drive. The gas pedal does have a slight stick/ little more friction in it at one particular point, but it has never caused any problems.It has been a great car for me and I have elected to sell it myself, as it did not have much trade in value at the dealership. I encourage people who are seriously considering bidding on the car to come and look at it/ test drive it if they are available. I hope some of this information was helpful.
