PLEASE READ ENTIRE AD BEFORE PLACING A BIDThis Mercedes Benz is in very nice condition. It is obvious that it was and continues to be garage kept. The car starts right up, and runs and drives perfectly. The transmission shifts as it should. The brakes stop well. And it runs down the road straight and true. We are a wholesaler and make our living buying and selling cars through the dealer auctions. We only retail the best, cleanest units we get to the public. It is finished in a beautiful and classy desert silver paint that still maintains its shine. The beautiful beige leather interior looks to be well kept tidy and clean there are no appreciable signs of wear. This particular CL500 coupe has only traveled 94,000 miles in its pampered life. These Mercedes CL class coupes are extremely sought after. They turn heads wherever they go, and they offer the unbeatable combination of the upmost in luxury combined with phenomenal performance. These cars were the flagship Mercedes Benz Coupes in their day and retailed for nearly 100,000 dollars. This particular example is absolutely loaded. Standard features include Power windows, locks, mirrors, power seats, heated seats, anti lock brakes, cruise control, and dual climate control with Ice cold air. This car has the optional and rare Command navigation system and Its about as loaded as a CL class coupe gets. - Heated Front Seats - Multifunction seats - Command Navigation system - Rear window shade We have added a set of Custom TSW Mirableau 20” Black wheels with polished lips that really update the appearance of this CL500. They give the car a much more modern an sporty appearance, however we understand that they might not be for everyone. We also have the stock OEM Mercedes wheels and tires, and would be willing to sell the car with either set or both sets, depending on the agreement we come to. There are no check engine lights, strange noises or issues. The engine is quiet, smooth and powerful. The transmission shifts as it should, and the car feels very planted and sure footed on the road. The only mechanical flaw that this car has exhibited is that if it’s left parked for 2-3 days without starting it the passenger side suspension starts to sag. We discussed this with our Mercedes Benz specialist, who advised that this is extremely common and pretty much normal wear and tear for the car. What he explained is that the hydraulic suspension uses o rings in the valve blocks to create a perfect seal. As time goes on the o rings wear slightly, and when left unattended for days the hydraulic fluid slowly seeps past the ring and the shocks lose pressure. He put the car on the Mercedes Benz Xentry diagnostic computer and there were no suspension related fault codes, since once the car is started the suspension comes right up and stays stable. Mercedes Benz itself in the owners manual explains that this settling / sagging of the suspension is normal after the car has sat for more than two weeks (and that is on a brand new car). He advised that you could change the valve block, (around $300 for the part). Or there is a service that rebuilds the valve blocks with new o rings etc for around $150. The carpets have been protected since day one and I have the original carpet mats. No expense was ever spared maintaining this Mercedes Benz ensuring years of trouble free operation in the future. It has been professionally detailed on a regular basis and hand washed religiously in between. This car represents an extraordinary value. Movie Star looks, with a well maintained history, and all the desirable options for the price of a used economy car!! Overall it’s a VERY nice car especially for the year. I would rate it a 7.5 /10 overall and I’m VERY picky with cars. I tend to be overly critical and under describe cars, but I’d rather you be impressed when you get your new car rather than disappointed due to the unrealistic descriptions that many dealers offer.
