This white 1999 Porsche Boxster is a handyman special. My son was driving it and managed to bend the push rod. The engine will turn over, but sounds rough. The battery is dead. The seats in the car are worn. Carpet is faded. There is only one Key, and it is broken (it works, but the plastic is cracked). The headlights/one tail light could be replaced, due to a crack, but work. To pick up the car, you will need a truck and a trailer. I looked around and one can find a complete 1999 Porsche Boxster engine for about $2,100.00. German Performance Auto in Nashville TN will let you ship an engine to them directly and they will install it for $1,000.00 in labor (while working it in between jobs). Likewise, if you are handy and know your way around cars, who knows what you can do or what side deal you can broker. I don’t have the time to deal with my son's mistake, so the car has been in storage for a year. This winter, to reduce cost, I moved to outdoor covered storage. The car is covered.
