Vehicle Detail
**** NO RESERVE **** Up for Auction at No Reserve is a very clean three Owner 1970 Plymouth Satellite V8 318, Automatic, PS, PB, 8 ¾ Rear, Non AC car with 116,600 miles that has had a lot of upgrades and work done to it. This is an Original Plum Crazy FC7 purple car that has had one repaint to burgundy many years ago. The flat hood was replaced at that time with a Road Runner Bulged Hood. The hood turn signal and wires do not work and will need to be replaced. The paint is still shiny but thin and blotchy in some areas. It has some scratches and dings from sitting in a home garage. I have two build sheets, fender tag and was told the 318 motor was original to the car. The previous owner I got the car from two years ago did all the rebuilding of the drivetrain and upgrades but never got it on the road. I recently installed a complete dual exhaust system and tires less than 10 miles ago but the rest of the upgrades and drivetrain have less than 100 miles on them. The horn and turn signals on the new steering column do not work. It could just be a wire connection issue but I never looked into it. I have all the receipts for the recent work and parts totaling over $15,000 not to mention original cost of the car and all the labor it took to put this car together. This car starts right up and is a pleasure to drive especially because of the upgraded front rack and pinion steering suspension and four wheel disc brakes. This is a very solid car with no rust expect in the lower rear quarters from a previous patch and one small spot on the top passenger fender. The inside frame rails and under carriage have been sprayed with eastwood rust encapsulator . The trunk is solid and not rusted out. The front and back floors are solid as well and have been covered with heat/sound deadening Dynamat Extreme including all the way up the trunk divider behind the back seat. This car is very quite on the inside while driving. The engine bay was prepped and painted Sublime Green. The front grill is perfect and the bumpers are shiny and have no dents. The vinyl top is in perfect condition. The original spare and jack are included but the jack is not for this car. The original front bench seat in gone and was replaced with a pair of late model high back buckets and dyed white. All the seat belts are there and in extremely good condition. The original steering column and steering wheel are gone. They have been replaced with a XV motorsports tilt steering and grant steering wheel. The original radio was replaced with a remote controlled JVC CD Stereo with usb inputs and rear Sony speakers. The Custom Center Console has a Sun Super Tach and a Jegs Oil pressure gauge mounted into it as well as a pair of Sony Xplod Stereo speakers on the side. The floor shifter is a Hurst V-matic 3 speed. The dash and instrument panel is in excellent condition with no cracks. All the lights and gauges work. The glass is in excellent condition with one small chip in the front windshield. They roll up and down with ease. This is a really nice driver and would make a great Super bird or GTX Clone. They don’t come around like this very often. I might be open to offers but No Trades. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Thanks. Below is a list of all the NEW PARTS and UPGRADES done to the car. It does have a new Gas Tank and sending unit. I took a 1/16" thick magnet over the whole car and it is solid and rust free expect for the lower quarters. The trunk floor, wheel wells and rocker panels are rock solid. There is no rust up under the vinyl top. I believe the vinyl top is original. It has a stronger and more desirable 8 3/4 rear with a 489 case. I am not sure of the gears but I will check the build sheet and post that tomorrow. The car runs and drive beautifully with no issues. I wouldn't be concerned about driving this car anywhere. I uploaded more pics to the link of some documentation and the build sheets. Please feel free to call me at 301-674-2426 with any questions. Thanks,Steve
