He is reducing his collector of a few classic cars and this baby doll. This car is an absolute driver's car, a pleasure to be in and cruise in. The interior is tight and "rattle free". This is a car that you can just get in and drive all day. There are a lot of things that make this particular 1996 Corvette unique. It is the Collector Edition, optioned with the LT4 engine, rare Torch Red Interior, & hard to find FE3 HD Suspension. The mileage of 65,901 is also exceptionally low. This is a Sunny Sunday driver. View my 100% positive customer feedback and bid with 100% confidence. The exterior presents the original GM-applied Sebring Silver paint in very good to excellent condition throughout. The factory paint condition is indicative of this always-garaged and pampered Corvette. There are very few tiny chips and surface scratches, nothing major. The front air dam / spoiler was just replaced. The glass is clean throughout. The engine compartment is clean and detailed, housing the optional LT4 engine. This powerplant features several performance modifications detailed in the description. In addition to an updated GM LT4 Hot Cam, hardened pushrods were installed along with additional supporting modifications & tune. All of this work was done by a reputable performance shop. Nearly $7,000 was spent on this Corvette doing the modifications. This is an extremely strong running '96 Corvette. The interior is the original optional Torch Red. Only 164 Collector Edition LT4 Corvettes came with this bright interior combination, the most desirable. The leather upholstery is in excellent condition. These seats have been protected by seat covers for many years, removed for the photography. The instruments are fully functional including the display, air conditioning, HEAT, and factory BOSE stereo system. The mileage is original to this Corvette, AutoCheck verified. The color-keyed Sebring Silver targa top is easily removed and complete with its original wrench-tool for removal. There are some minor surface scratches on the top. The top stows in the rear carpeted area. For some reason the attachment mounts for the targa storage are no longer there (see photos). I also want to mention that the rubber weatherstrip is in excellent condition throughout this Corvette, a common area of concern for the C4 Corvette. The color-keyed protective flaps have helped keep the paint in top condition. The factory color-keyed wheels were replace with factory chromed alloys all around.
