Vehicle Detail

That the dawn of motoring actually took place in France is a fact where not many people are familiar with. A little history about the make; Terrot was one of those French motorcycle pioneer (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terrot) which manufacturer was over the years very well known for their high quality motorcycles, but also for the many races they have won. The company was based in Dijon and was in business from the year 1887 until the early 1960's.More information about this make, models, factory etc. can be seen in very interesting video (don't miss out on this, in French language, but ever such a nice documentary!); https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sy2bOtZdXSQ This rare Terrot HST model is looking almost just as clean and distinctive as it did back in the 1930's, though like can be expected it is showing after 87 years some small traces of age and use (patina). It has only been used very little over the years until recent, where over this period great care has been taken to keep this machine in the condition where it still is in. The 350 four-stroke engine starts at first kick and runs ever so nice and strong, where also the gearbox is shifting fine and has all gears present. The HST-model was well known for its very high durability, which made that this particular sports-model was very suited for the endurance-type race-events of back in those days, as also in this Terrot motorcycle very high quality was combined with great roadholding and excellent performance. A video where such a 1930 350cc Terrot-HST model is doing where it is best at can be viewed when clicking this link (make sure to put the volume up first);https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-CJpWOtiiuw&t=7s This motorcycle comes with an official European Certificate of Origin, which document will be issued in your name and states the make, model, year of manufacture, displacement, weight etc, plus an official bill of sale from my company here in Belgium. Furthermore I’ll make sure that all the correct export-paperwork will be in place before the bike leaves from here, which documents will make the process of importing it into the US an easy ride. -On this listing I’m offering a special (fully sealed) crate, careful packing and physical shipping from here in Belgium to a US CFS as close as possible to you at my expense, meaning that I will pay for having the bike crated and all handling etc. plus the ocean-freight charge, where you are responsible for all charges at your (US) end, like entry-, port-, handling- and broker-fees etc.If you want any additional information about this, please ask before you place a bid. Furthermore, when you want to receive some better photo's of the bike/shipping, or want to recieve more information about this item, just let me know. -Additional information to this listing; I only offer shipping by sea, where of course we can advise you on forehand about the process of importing the machine into your country and can help you to the contact-details of an ever so experienced US import-broker. When you are the high-bid buyer, I will ship this machine at my expense from here to one of the following Canadian destinations (container freight station-depot); -Calgary ALB-Charlottetown PEI-Edmonton ALB-Halifax, NS-Moncton NB-Montreal-Ottawa ONT-Quebec City QUE-Regina SAS-St. John's NF-Toronto Vancouver BC-Winnipeg MAN ..To one of over 60 US destinations, Or to another destination (please check whether I can ship to there before you place a bid). For Canadian buyers, check this link regarding importation; https://www.tc.gc.ca/eng/motorvehiclesafety/safevehicles-importation-1338.htm For US buyers, like can be read in the link, this antique bike is because of age exempt from US import-duty and EPA regulations; https://help.cbp.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/278/~/importing-classic-or-antique-vehicles-%2F-cars-for-personal-use The crate will safely sail in a sealed container and the shipment is fully insured for eventual damage/loss.I always pack vehicles myself, only use certified crates plus new packing-materials and deliver the crated machines in person at the Antwerp warehouse of the shipping-company (see images) Furthermore I pay for having every shipment insured against damage or loss during the complete process of handling and sailing. Of course I will inform you about the complete process of shipping and provide you all the information you need from the beginning on and send you pictures of the process of packing and actual delivery at the Antwerp port as soon as these processes are completed.
