This is a Ford F250 freezer truck custom built by ColdCar coldcarusa.com/products/standard-bodies in the 2x2 format. The back is frozen and gets down to -20 degrees and beyond. The compressor sits outside the vehicle. The way you use this is that you freeze the truck, then disconnect from the compressor and then drive your frozen merchandise around. During 100 degrees summer days the truck stays frozen all day so it can be re-frozen overnight. This way:- the back of truck stays at frozen temperatures- your gas mileage isnt affected since you are not lugging the heavy compressor around all the time. Besides it has 4 doors do that when you are off-loading frozen merchandise from one area the other 3 doors remain closed and not losing coldness. In our experience this is the best way to do frozen transportation because it doesn't compromise on the compressor strength AND doesn't compromise on mileage, coldness. We have an ice cream delivery business and the frozen temperature requirements are pretty stringent and this truck delivers the consistent frozen temperature over hours as we need.
