BRIEF DESCRIPTION: 1951 Ford thats been in AZ for a very long time, prob most of its life It was a ranch truck for many yrs, but not beat up. It was started to turn into a street truck about 10 yrs ago. Nice motor and trans in it, and it was licensed and driven until about 2 yrs ago when the project got sidelined. The gas in the tank is way old, we did pour fresh gas down the carb and it runs fine, motor sounds very healthy, and get aload of those HEADERS !! Brakes work too. If I find a little time Im going to try to get it more driveable, even if its just with an electric fuel pump and gas supply under the hood for now. The body is fairly rust free, the frame is in excellent shape. It just needs a vision and someone to finish it their style. DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND, apparently some people who use ebay arent smart enough to understand the rules. These cars are getting harder to find esp in this condition that are still affordable to most buyers. DRIVETRAIN: the motor Ford 289-302 V8 with some performance mods as you can see. New radiator is in there, but not fully mounted. But its functional for putting around the yard. Trans was suppose to have been built too, but cant really verify. Looks like the stock Ford 9" outback. The headers are so cool I wish I knew who made them and when. Engine sounds healthy and with the mods it should, it does have a mild cam too. INTERIOR: obviously not finished, barely started haha. Clean slate do what you want with it. Has bench style seat out of not sure, some gauges and floor shift auto stick on the floor. Floors look great as do the step parts under both doors. Not sure what else to say here, check out the pics and ask questions if you have any. Most of the glass is good I think. EXTERIOR: body is in pretty good shape overall, prob the worst part is the LF fender. Not sure if its saveable and its not fully bolted on anyways. Cab corners, bottom of doors, bed, hood and front all in pretty good shape for its age. Im sure its head some dents and dings over the yrs. In the bed is a large steel cover, but UNDER it, is the ORIGINAL WOOD !! it worn out shape, but its been covered for 30 yrs too. The bed and tailgate are very rust free and in really nice shape I might add. Im probably forgetting some stuff, so if you have any questions email me for a prompt reply ! SUSPENSION: could be all stock, straight front axle and 9" out back Looks like it was lowered a little already, but cant say for sure. People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks on end. Having as much as the original steel on a restored car these days speaks volumes. People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.
