All Zero and Negative feedback's must contact me before placing a bid!!Here is a clean, one owner 1978 Jeep Wagoneer Cherokee Chief with the super rare Levi's Edition! This Jeep is equipped with a V-8 360 motor an automatic transmission and Quadra-Trac 4 wheel drive. 1978 was the last year of the Levi's package and this Chief has a '99' paint code, which was a special order factory paint!The paint still shines and looks good, great patina! The body is straight and free of any major dents, there is one crease on the drivers side below the fuel cap, please see pictures. Also, the original owner had touched the paint up in places as it faded or got scratched, mainly on the tail gate where he backed up into something many years ago, there appears to be a little bondo/body filler there as well, please see pictures. The chrome is in good shape. There is no rust on the body and this Jeep has lived here in Oregon since new, we do not salt the roads, please see pictures. The interior is in good shape and mostly original. The original Levi's seats still look great, drivers does have a few splits in the vinyl towards the bottom and the rear seat has a small hole, please see pictures. The door panels are starting to come apart in a few places on the bottom, please see pictures. The dash is in great shape, free of any cracks, please see pictures. The headliner is in decent shape, it is starting to sag a bit and the previous owner put a strip of some sort of material across it, probably where it had separated, please see pictures. The original carpet had gotten old&worn over the years and was replaced with an OEM unit. All of the gauges work great including the odometer, even the original Jeep radio and clock still work! All of the glass is good, free of cracks. The rear power window still works, however it's slow going up and down.We also have the original rubber matt which lays on the rear cargo area, however it has splits and cracks.The engine starts up and runs great, just serviced with fresh oil&filter, spark plugs, wires, cap&rotor, fuel&air filters, new fuel hoses, new drive belts, rebuilt carburator as well as a new polyurethane fuel tank and sending unit, the fuel filter was starting to pick up some residue from the old tank. The transmission shifts very smooth, freshly serviced with new fluid&filter. The front&rear differentials as well as the Quadra-Trac system have fresh fluid as well.
