*****NO RESERVE******This zippy Z3 literally just emerged from the repair garage today. After being vandalized by having the original top slashed in a public parking garage, an insurance claim was carried out and the car received a new top, ordered and installed form the BMW dealership, Weatherford motors. This job cost just shy of $5400, and the paperwork receipt will transfer to the new owner. Also, the drivers door handle and lock were replaced and a new latch was installed in the trunk. The new top looks great and all locks work as they should. The car was NOT totalled out, it is important to note, and has a CLEAR California title, so obviously the insurance company thought it's value somewhere North of the $5400 that was paid to repair it. However, this car will be sold to the highest bidder regardless of the value or monies very recently spend on it. For although it now has a new top which is flawless, the original paint will need a re-spray. From 20 feet, it is presentable, but upon close inspection it is clear that it has had it. There are no dents, but a few dings and multiple areas of clear coat missing and poor touch up attempts having been made. It needs paint. NOTE: I have and will install a new BMW emblem that is deficient from the passenger side fender. The interior is in better than average shape with the only thing of note being a repair to the passenger side hand grip and the troublesome seat bearings being in need of replacement. Otherwise, the leather seats have very little signs of wear, no dash cracks and the console looks OK. Hot heat and cold A/C! The car was well optioned and has the onboard computer and heated seat option, as well as the original stereo csssette deck with the premium sound package, which provides for extra speakers in the car cabin. It also is pre-wired for the companion BMW trunk mounted CD changer. The car also came with the rarely seen factory alarm option, Although the alarm does not appear to be working now and the reason for that is unknown. A $100 new master key was ordered from the dealer 60 days ago, not long before the insurance work was carried out and the old, still working original key will also be included. The owners manual with the radio code is included and the radio's alarm does work. Tires have 60% tread remaining or better and rims look good. Very good brakes too. The car is a truly a joy to drive as it is quite peppy and being the 4 cylinder variant, it is extremely economical to operate. It also is very reliable Finally, please ask any and all questions prior to placing your bid. I reserve the right to end the auction early as the car is advertised locally for sale. CALIFORNIA BUYERS PLEASE NOTE: I will NOT be smogging this car as it could easily sell to an out of state buyer.
