1970 Triumph T120R 650cc Dirt Tracker - Built by Bobby Van Meter “Custom Engineering” out of Bakersfield, CA. Pro Riders were Sid Payne, Rick Newby, Ron Toby, Ron Pierce, Paul Bostrom etc. This is Bobby’s “Winning Combination” from racing Triumphs in the AMA nationals for 40 years. Almost everything on the bike is BRAND NEW. Since being built, bike has been ridden only a few times to break in the motor and at Willow Springs earlier this month. Full race de-raked frame, Rare Ray Carrol swing arm, Custom aluminum oil reservoir, Tank and seat have fresh $1000 paint job. A&A Piggy back shocks, Rebuilt Ceriani Forks with racing springs and seals, Carbs have been flowed, Ported and polished head, 12:1 Pistons, ARD Mag, Light shaved and balanced crank, “Peened” Piston Rods, Megacycle Cams, 500 lifters and lightened rockers, Narrowed timing gears, Barnes quick change wheel, Routt's Primary cover, New Maxxis tires front and back. I am sure there is more done to the bike that I forgot. Bike was completely rebuilt from the ground up, each part has been matched together.
