Vehicle Detail
I'm selling my mostly stock 1986 Guards Red on Black 944 Turbo. The car has 132,243 miles on it. I've only had the car for about a year, but life happens and circumstances have changed. I'd rather the car be with someone who has more time to enjoy it as it's just too fun to leave alone. The car is almost completely stock performance wise. The previous owner added an Lindsey Racing Boost Enhancer and a billet re-circulating valve, but otherwise it's stock. I have a folder full of receipts and maintenance history over the life of the car. Last Water pump/Timing belt job done at 121,168 miles (June 2014) Things done recently (last 2 years):Water pump/timing belt replaced (June 2014)Replaced clutch master cylinder (July 2014)Replaced Brake booster (September 2015)R-134A A/C Conversion and recharge (September 2015) - A/C is super cold! Things I've done in the last year:replaced spark plugs, rotor, and spark plug wiresreplaced DME temperature sensornew brake pads and rotors all aroundreplaced wheel bearings front and backreplaced rear axles (C/V joints were worn, replaced both axles)replaced coolant overflow/radiator capinstalled Solid-State DME Relay - This thing is great!New Pioneer Digital Media Receiver audio deckNew Alpine SPS-406 4x6" front speakersAutometer boost gauge in A-pillar gauge pod (I have the original A-pillar trim as well)replaced blend door clip on climate controlInstalled 968 Aero mirror kit (Porsche factory conversion kit) Things that need some work:There is a slight cold idle problem on first start in the morning. The car will start, but then usually stumble a bit. If I blip the throttle a few times it will stay running and then idles normal once it warms up a little bit. I believe this is either a vaccum leak or the Idle Air Control is malfunctioning. Should be easy to fix, I just haven't had the time to look at it.The motor mounts should probably be changed soon. Not immediately, but they're a little bit weak.$500 non-refundable deposit due within 24 hours. Full payment due in 7 days. I'm happy to help make the car available to any shipping company the buyer arranges.
