Vehicle Detail
1953 Jaguar XK120S FHC$119,900 The XK120 Fixed head coupe was introduced in July 1951 for export markets and November 1951 for the home market. It was aimed further upmarket than the comparatively sparsely furnished roadster featuring decorative wood trim and wooden dash. Produced in relatively small numbers, and featuring an extremely stylish roof line reminiscent of the Bugatti Type 57 Atlantic. The fixed head coupe is a much rarer motor car than the roadster and as such is highly prized by collectors. This fine example is numbers matching in exceptional condition having undergone a thorough restoration. The paintwork has been refinished to a very high standard in Suede Green (original color from new) and chrome/bright work has been replaced. The interior has been comprehensively refurbished including reupholstered seats and refinished decorative wood. The wiring harness has been replaced, the engine has been professionally rebuilt and a new stainless steel exhaust fitted, while attention has also been paid to the transmission, suspension and brakes. This stunning XK120 coupe is supplied with restoration invoices and heritage certificate from the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust. A rare and beautiful motor car. This XK120 is in excellent overall condition and will be a comfortable and reliable partner for your Saturday morning drive or that weekend get-a-way.
