2004 Volkswagen Touareg 5.0 V10 TDI. YES - a similar one towed a BOEING 747! Bragging rights included! CLEAN TITLE. Lots of maintenance records in the CARFAX and couple of receipts from VW Dealership in 2015 (invoice copies included). New Genuine VW Battery installed. Runs and Drives, but there is an oil leak when the engine is running. As a result, I am not sure how far it can be driven safely - plan to transport this with a trailer. Starts right up in the morning - coldest we had so far was 32F. Functional Air Suspension with NEW front Air Dampers installed in March 2015 for $4800! Locking Differential, Keyless Entry, Navigation, Sunroof, Front/Rear Parking Sensors, 20" Chrome Wheels, etc. Engine sounds and runs good - no Turbo noise. Tires and brake pads are good. Brakes are spongy and not very responsive. Dirty interior with wear on the buttons and other areas. Front passenger window does not raise fully. The MIL is on and my generic OBD reader shows 'P2108 - Throttle Actuator Control Module Performance'. Some buyers have asked me where the oil is coming from - I tried to look under the vehicle to identify the source of the leak and it seems to be coming from the upper passenger side, between the engine and the firewall. However, I cannot tell for sure - it looks like it has been driven with the leak for a while so there is a lot of oil residue. This makes it impossible for me to pinpoint the exact source of the leak(s). This Touareg is being sold "AS-IS". No guaranty or warranty of any kind! This is essentially offered as "wholesale" to the public and has not been inspected or reconditioned, hence the vehicle may not be test driven as there may be safety issues. No repairs, cleaning or even exterior washing have been done on this Touareg.
