Selling my baby, Roxy. I don't really want to get rid of her, but I feel like I am paying for an ornament basically. She is my daily driver, but I work for a car company, so I most of the time have a company car anyway.I just broke 5000 miles on it after 11 months of owning the car (1k of those were on a drive from Cincinnati to Dallas). I spoil this car rotten. I wash it almost every week, even if it does not need it. I always use the 2-bucket method to avoid scratching the paint - which is amazing if you've never seen Lapiz Blue in person!I changed the oil at 1k miles and again at 5k. Plan is to then change at 10k and every 10k after that. ( I do this as a break in to get rid of the dealer oil and put my own quality stuff (Liquimoly)Only mods done to the car are completely reversible back to stock, they include:-K&N Drop in filter-Carbon Fiber Mirror Caps-35% tint all the way around (75% on windshield)-Black/Blue VW emblems-AND THATS IT! - This car has never been tuned as 99% of Golf Rs out there have been.I have a VERY detailed log of every thing done to the car since I purchased along with every penny that has gone into it. - even fuel fill ups with PDFs of receipts, etc..Basically, if I spent a single penny or minute of my time on this car, it's logged.Disclaimer: CF Shift knob in pics does not go with the car (sentimental value- not for sale)Car is still under warranty and is 100% flawless - IMO better than when it rolled off the showroom floor.
