1968 Ford Galaxie

This auction is for a 1968 Ford LTD shell and rolling chassis. This car originally was a frame off restoration project that was given up on. The frame on this car was restored and is in near perfect condition except for some very very minor surface rust from sitting. I see NO repairs to the frame, which is very common. This car is equipped with power disc brakes, and this was a 390 car, 9" rear end, etc. The car itself is pretty solid except for some perforations in the floor pan and under what's left of the vinyl top. Lots of good panels to use for a restoration. Nonetheless, what you see is what you get - a dash board, wiring harness, gauge cluster, steering wheel and column, a radio, a deck lid, doors, all the glass, the quarters and lid and pretty solid but have some dings and surface rust. It's really just a body shell. It has no interior, engine, transmission, fenders, hood, chrome or trim except for a few pieces left behind. I do have the title for the car, which goes with it. I bought the car to do a potential frame swap on a 1965. Yes, the frame/chassis is a direct bolt in for 1965-68 Galaxies and their Mercury counterparts.
