This is basically a one-owner motorcycle, as I purchased it 21 years ago with only 150 miles on the odometer. The original purchaser slid the bike shortly after he bought it, scared himself, and then left it sitting in his garage for a year. The flat area on the right crash bar is from that incident. The handlebars also came around and hit the gas tank, resulting in that small dent and a slight bend in the bars. I've ridden it that way for 21 years and never felt a reason to fix things. The bike runs great and I love it. The problem is that it has aged better than I have. I'm now 72 years old, only 5'7" tall, and I want to move to a lighter bike, probably an R65.
