FOR SALE 1976 XR75 Bike is absolutely beautiful and recently restored! I did not personally restore it, it was done by a retired flat track racer who now spends his days restoring XR75's. The last photo (#24) shows part of his collection of XR's that he has restored. They are NOT included in the auction!!! This XR75 is absolutely immaculate, please look at all the photos closely and you will see how clean this bike really is.I was told the bike was built with all OEM/NOS Nuts and bolts. Some of the bolts including the engine bolts have the correct "8" stamped heads, and the crank case screws have the "x" on them. I was told it was a complete frame up restoration. Frame was powder coated and tank was newly painted using the correct "Tahitian Red" paint codes. Rims and hubs were disassembled and polished and the old spokes were replaced with new ones. If you look at the bike carefully you will see that EVERYTHING on the bike looks brand new: Shocks, Chain, handlebars, grips, cables, carburetor, seat, fenders, number plates, etc. You get the idea. Bike even has the Sparkplug wrench behind the front number plate! The only thing on the bike that that doesn't look new in my opinion is the kill switch which is original to the bike. I took a closer photo of it. The exhaust on the bike was made from the original header/pipe with a custom muffler built by a professional pipe builder. Bike runs and rides, but to be honest I have only put gas in it once, and rode it up and down the street just to test it and make sure it runs, the tank is currently drained. I was told the tank was coated on the inside so you never have to worry about rust. It is too nice to ride, and I am too scared of scratching the bike. The only little thing I have found on the bike that isn't perfect, is the right side bolt that holds down the seat and the upper rear shock mount, just spins and doesn't tighten down all the way.
