Up for auction is this 1996 Toyota Land Cruiser, only two previous owners, Low Miles 165,785. This one has the front and rear locking differentials. The cruiser is in good overall condition . The engine runs very well and holds good oil preasure when hot, the transmission shifts smooth engages well and does not slip.The brakes work good and has a good feel to the pedal, The Air conditioner works. The power windows, locks sunroof and cruise control all work properly. The tires are only about 30% and will need replacement soon. I had considered putting new tires on but the next purchaser may have their own preference. The tires are good enough to travel cross country but are worn. The vehicle runs nice at highway speeds and can cruise at 70-75 comfortably A fresh oil change and service has just been done so it is ready for delivery.No leaks of any kind when parked on the garage floor. The interior is in good usable condition ,{non smoker owned no stinky rotten cigarette smell} the front seats appear to be from another vehicle and match the original color well, they are leather in very good condition, the rear seats are good but do have the normal leather checking to them. The carpeting is good and not ripped up or torn. The door panels are good ,The front windshield is good but does have one small stone chip in it. The body is in good condition the doors,tailgate, floorpans, rocker panels, look good and are not rusted out. The left front fender has one spot that has a rust bubble buy the wheel moulding.The front bumper has a dent in the middle of it. The parking brake does not work. The paint appears to be original and has numerous small scrathches and dings from being in service for 20 years. I would rather sell it with small defects than to paint it and then the buyer does not know what is under the fresh paint. I will not insult your intelligence and state that it is like new like some adds do It is 20 years old and does have some defects, If you are looking for a good cruiser this may be for you. What else can you buy drive for years and get all of your money back. Your inspection is welcomed.
