What we have here is what appears to be a mediocre looking forester. However, once you look underneath the horror begins. We are selling it because it needs too much work and we really don't want to deal with it. Needs: engine reseal for oil leaks, Full tune up with timing belt/waterpump and trans service. rear suspension crossmember is rusted out. Check engine light on, has fuel vapor leak, po440 trouble code - may also need fuel tank. exhaust system noisy, has been repaired poorly, probably needs replacement. Front lower radiator support rusted out. Rear bumper rusted out. has lots of small scratches and dings, Will need new tires and wheel alignment for winter....The interior was stained......... and the radio is inop. Radio knob is missing Like I said , this car has 200k miles and probably won't pass inspection unless it's repaired. The good things are: AC works, starts, runs and shifts ok.
