Work within the past 10 years includes: + Fuel tank refurbished / new fuel lines + Master cylinder replaced + upgraded stereo (head unit in glove box) Within the past 5 years: + new tires + new carpeting Within the past 12 months: + new spark plugs + new fuel pump + new distributor / electronic ignition + new wires + new coil + New voltage regulator + New battery + New fan bearing + New oil cooler gaskets (washers) + Rebuilt generator + Rebuilt carbs Parts included but not installed include: + New convertible top kit with instructions + New in-box rear shocks (2) Note that the 1964 model has a significant improvement to the prior model-years, featuring the first major revision of the suspension, which added a transverse leaf spring as a camber compensator to the swing axle suspension. This makes ’64 a desirable model year for those who like the early model body styling but want the suspension and handling improvements of the later models. The body had a respray in the late 90s – it looks good overall but shows sign of wear. There are light scratches and scrapes here and there – and there is some significant chipping of the paint on the rear deck lid (trunk) that has been touched up. The interior is mostly original – with the upholstery showing no rips or tears – with wear that is consistent with an older car with low mileage. Carpeting was replaced about 10 years ago. Dash looks good and all items are functioning. There are lap seat belts fitted to the front seats. The current convertible white top is very worn and should be replaced. Kit is included.
