I’m listing this 1971 Buick GS for my 80 year old mother. My parents purchased the GS used in 1974. This was my mother’s daily driver until she retired. Then the GS was use for vacations and weekend drives. My father passed away about a year ago and my mom no longer feels comfortable driving the GS. So, she thinks it's time to pass on the GS to a good home. Note: I have listed some history on the car. Some is from my mom's memory and some from receipts that will be included with the car. 350 engine VIN 471Z128139 - in 1987 (128,000 miles) heads were rebuilt and new bearings, rings and oil pump installed. Carb # 7041544 MH (Date 1061) TH350 transmission VIN 471Z128139 - serviced at 155,000 miles (It was noted at that time that switch on passenger front of trans was leaking) switch has not been replaced so trans leaks (NOTE: transmission has never been rebuilt.) Differential was also serviced at 155,000 New dual exhaust installed 2009 Car was painted 1995 still looks nice but does have chips & scratches. 43 Lime Mist 11 Arctic White Bumper chrome still looks nice. Seat covers were replaced 1995 Legendary Auto Interiors LTD Tires purchased 1989 (P225/75R14).
