Vehicle Detail

We are selling this 1969 Camaro RS Z28. It is a one owner car and has never been restored, just repainted years ago. The car has only 67,223 original miles and retains its original born with engine, transmission and 12 bolt rear with 3:73 positraction. The body is real nice and does not show any rust. The interior is white deluxe houndstooth and appears to be all original as well and in real nice shape. The owner had covered the seats with clear plastic to preserve them all these years and they look like new.. The 302 is factory stamped V1122DZ. Axle and Transmission stamps as well as the block are pictured as best we could. The Distributor is 1111480 dated 8K4. ( we could not get a decent picture of it). The alternator has been changed at some point but retains the original fan and pulley. The heads are the original 186 dated K-4-8. The undercarriage of this car is all original and factory undercoated, it is very nice. Frame is clean front and rear. The car originally wore a vinyl top which was removed before paint but is evident on the trim tag. All the rally sport equipment is original and intact. Other options are 8 track stereo, rear defroster, tach and gauges, power steering, deluxe seat belts, etc. all intact and documented on the build sheets pictured. It shows no rust and does not look like it will need any body panel replacement. It runs and drives well too. This is a rare car in a combination of documentation, options and condition that you just don't find anymore. It will make a real nice project and solid investment on todays market. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have. You can email or call us at 716-652-7086. Check out our other auctions. Camaro Specialties has been restoring award winning Camaros and selling restoration parts for 1965-1981 Camaros, Firebirds, Chevelles, Novas and GTO's as well as project cars for over 30 years. We would also welcome inspection at our shop. We can assist you in transportation and loading too. Thanks for looking! A couple details I left out. The car is originally Garnet Red with a white vinyl top. The documentation is From the Canadian Chevrolet Motor Division and the most reliable form of documentation available for Chevrolet Camaros. All the 1969 Camaros were built in the U.S. Some of those cars were exported to other countries. Canada kept all of the documentation for the Camaros they imported and have all of the options and serial numbers to authenticate them. A copy is available through GM Oshawa and is included in the auction pictures. Without solid documentation today it is quite difficult to positively know and identify many of these cars and this certainly reflects on their collectability and investment value. Cars like this are becoming extremely rare and their value continues to escalate. Bob
