I bought this nice, low mileage BMW as part of a collection from an elderly gentleman who decided it was time to quit riding. He was a long term owner, and the bike appears to have been ridden gently. It runs, shifts and brakes as it should. It is a joy to ride, and gets a lot of attention. The compression is 135 cold on both cylinders. No smoke, even on startup. A BMW specialist (Norm at Boxer Rebellion in Cambridge, Wi.) recently looked at it and gave it a clean bill of health. I wanted to be sure it was ready for its next owner. It is original except for the paint on the fuel tank and side covers, and the black on the engine was renewed. The motorcycle shows the normal patina you would expect from a bike this of age and mileage. There aren't many with low mileage. The bike also comes with the factory BMW hard luggage and service manual.
