Vehicle Detail
Believed by many to be the most iconic muscle car ever produced, this car checks all the boxes for the options you would want on a car like this. This 1970 Chevelle SS is believed to be a real LS6 car, but I don't have documentation to prove that definitively, so the price reflects that. Purchased from a private collection where it had been for 15 years and is in beautiful condition throughout. Rust free, arrow straight body with beautiful original floors and quarter panels. Looks like a new car inside. Polished to show standards and finished in the factory colors of 75 75 Cranberry Red with Black stripes. Black bucket seat interior with console. 8 track radio works. Odometer reads just over 27,000, but I have no way of knowing if that is accurate. The engine has almost no miles and the car looks like it very easily could be a 27,000 mile car. Due to the tremendous interest in this car, I have posted two short videos showing a walk around of the car and the engine running.VIDEO 1VIDEO 2Features: power steering, power disc brakes, functional cowl induction hood, factory 6500 tachometer, gauges, factory dual exhaust with correct chrome tips, and 14x7 SS rally wheels with new tires. Runs, drives, and shifts spectacular. VIN on the car is: 136370L181967. Has a fantastic sound! Powered by a GM mark IV service replacement LS6 454 block with casting #10069286 and head casting #14096188 with Muncie M22 Rock Crusher 4 speed manual transmission casting #3925661 and date code P1T22C, and F41 suspension with 12 bolt positraction. 3.07 rear end suitable for freeway driving.Small dimple on rear bumper. One scratch on deck lid about one inch in length about width of human hair. Couple of chips on hood near cowl. Brand new Delco, vintage looking battery. All new rubber on entire car. Doors close as they should and all windows roll up and down freely. You won't have to mess around with fixing the "small stuff" that you always read about with old cars. Excellent throughout and all gauges, electrical, and lights work as new, including the cowl induction hood. Inspections always welcome. Multiple show winner. This car runs incredibly cool temperature, even here in Nevada. Never any issues with the car getting even close to hot. Can't go anywhere without being stopped to talk about this car! This is a very nice car with will sell. Selling with no reserve. I reserve the right to end the auction early as the car is being offered for sale locally. I will sell to International buyers, but INSPECTIONS MUST BE MADE PRIOR TO PURCHASING THE CAR; not post-purchase inspections. Call Todd with question or to arrange a test drive. 949-two-seven-4-588five I have been buying and selling on eBay for 17 years. I know the challenges of buying vintage cars across the country...I have done it myself! I have also sold several muscle cars and hot rods on eBay over the years and have 100% feedback, so buy with confidence. Car is now located in Henderson, Nevada.
