To complete the package all of the trim is in special order factory carbon fiber. The overall presence is stunning, and this car turns heads wherever it goes. This 2000 Mercedes Benz SLK has only traveled 127k miles in it’s life. That’s a super low 7900 miles a year. It features a 2.3 liter 4cylinder supercharged engine mated to an automatic transmission. This car gets up and goes! Yet when you are just cruising it sips gas like a typical 4cyl car. The hardtop convertible works with no issues. There are no check engine lights or error codes. Everything works as Mercedes Benz intended. The beauty of these hardtop convertibles is that they are practical year round cars - with the top up you have a quiet and weatherproof car with a glass rear window complete with electric defrost. But hit the switch and in seconds watch the top fold into the trunk and you now have a sleek and sexy roadster that's ready for fun in the sun! This car came completely loaded from the factory. Power everything - mirrors, locks, windows, seats. It also has heated seats for those cool mornings. The car features an upgraded Sony CD / mp3 sound system with aux jack that sounds great The Alloy wheels are in great shape and the car rides on a matched set of Fuzion tires with 80% tread left. This car represents an extraordinary value in the used sports car market. You can have Mercedes looks, performance and reliability, as well as a convertible when the weather call for it for the price of a used pedestrian Honda Civic. I wish you could see this car in person - (please contact me if you are local and wish to do that btw) but please review the detailed pictures I have provided in order to get a true feel for the fantastic condition this car is in. Now every used car no matter how well cared for has flaws. Here’s what our inspection has found: · There is some very minor damage on the passenger front fender. Looks like a baseball or something hit it. · There are a few small stone chips on the hood. · There’s a very small ding at the very bottom of the driver’s door. · There’s an area along the trunk molding where the clearcoat is starting to delaminate. As well as a couple other tiny spots where the clearcoat has started to lift. Please understand that this is an almost 17 year old car, and for the age and mileage is its in well above average condition. I have tried to document all the flaws clearly with pictures, so there is no confusion or misunderstandings. . I would rate this 2000 Mercedes Benz SLK a 6.5-7 /10 overall and I’m VERY picky with cars. I tend to be overly critical and under describe cars, but I’d rather you be impressed when you get your new car rather than disappointed due to the unrealistic descriptions that many dealers offer. These cars are used and we get them as they are. We sell our cars WAY below retail values and as such cannot afford to add accessories or other things after the sale is completed. Overall we have had very good experiences on ebay, however recently we have had a few bidders who have had the impression that a winning bid means they can come check out the car and decide if they like it and or viewing their bid as a starting point for negotiations. I have no problem holding cars on our lot until shipping carriers pick them up, or it's convenient for you to come pick them up, but we expect the car to be paid, in full within 7 business days of the auction closing. If you do not have the resources readily available to pay, or you do not feel comfortable with these terms Now onto the legal stuff: Status Motors of NJ LLC is a licensed, bonded, and insured used car dealer in the state of New Jersey. Our retail lot is located at 69 Groveville Road, (corner of Rt 130 and Groveville Road) in Bordentown, NJ. Any inspections must take place on site at our facility, and be concluded before the end of the auction. NJ residents MUST pay 7% sales tax in addition to the winning price of the bid. No exceptions. Out of state residents must pay their own taxes when they go to register the car in their local municipality. All purchasers (including dealers) must pay a $199 documentation fee, which covers the cost of overnight mail and title transfer, ebay fees etc. Temporary vehicle tags are available to both in state and out of state residents, they cost $25. Non-resident temp tags are valid for 20 days from the date of issuance. Resident temp tags are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance. All cars are sold as-is where is with no warranty expressed or implied. All retail customers will be obligated to sign an as-is where is acknowledgement as part of the purchase paperwork. Please be advised that pictures and descriptions provided are in order to best describe vehicle. Buyer should expect to find 'normal wear' that would be consistent with the vehicles age and mileage. Older vehicles may show undercarriage rusting consistent with vehicles age and mileage.
