This is without a doubt the best running GL1100 I have ever had, and I have had a few. It has been my Wifes bike for several years and has been maintained as such, (I really really like her) and has newer Bridgestone Spitfire tires, belts, brakes, front stuts, and rebuilt carbs done with Randakk's kits. Also a Spitfire windshield, and a TourMaster sissy bar bag. This bike runs and rides so nice it is hard to sell it but she has hung up her boots for good. I would not hesitate to ride this anywhere, every thing works, the only thing I noticed when I last took it out is the switch on the front brake light on the handlebar is getting cranky. Starts at the touch of the button, idles smooth, shifts great, sounds sweet, and is not slow. It is off course a bit old and some of the chrome is not perfect and the exhaust is rusty but sound, and the seat needs to be recovered. This bike is nice.
