Up for auction is this super clean and solid Jeep Cj 7 I purchased it about 1 year ago from the original owner who lived on a horse farm in central Fl (Ovideo) He told me he had restored it about 10 years ago as a retirement project. But it had a been a while since he had used it and was no longer able to drive it because of the manual trans,he was an older gentleman . It sat for about 2 years.I purchased it with the intent of restoring it to full factory original condition.In about a year I have replaced all gaskets,all hoses,cap,aluminum valve cover because the factory plastics ones always leak ,rotor,plugs ,fuel pump,belts,fluids,clutch,brakes,tires,new carb,new muffler and more that I can think of off the top of my head.It is a perfect candidate for a real nice resto as its extremely solid.I replaced the seats as well,It had the original ones that I had reupholstered but when I went to pick them up unfortunately they looked like a 5 year old sewed them-so I left them and just ordered brand new ones. All that was left was paint and factory wheels.But Im just to busy to give it the proper attention it needs.With that being said its in perfect mechanical condition,you can drive it anywhere.I only used it a 3-4 times a month to go to the gym,out to eat on the weekends etc.It runs very smooth and super quiet I wanted t to be factory original .One day after washing it the entire center console cluster stopped working,everything so it is inop I have put maybe 20 miles on it since then,a new one is 95 dollars on quadratec.com. Oil pressure is good there is no smoke ,leaks,weird noises.etc,has tilt steering. I do not have doors,or a different top they are available online for a reasonable price. I kept it in the garage and it was garaged before I got it.It did have the safari doors but I left them behind as they were cloudy,and to be honest no one most people drive them like this here in Orlando.If you have the vehicle shipped and want doors etc you can send them to me before and I will have them installed etc Or you could just drive this beauty as is and have fun all the hard works is done and its nice an original not modified and beat up .Also the markings on the bottom are from camo stickers that were on it and the residue left behind,I had planned on painting it anyways so I left it,I dont do camo but you can repplace it with regular black rocker guards etc for arounf 150. clear FL title IN HAND Jeep is an 81,it would not load the vin I will help with shipping if you go that route all funds must clear before car leaves,cash in person,bank wire, sold as is because of the year naturally /thanks god bless
