CAR HAS ZERO RUST / DAMAGE ON THE BODY, UNDERSIDE, WHEEL WELLS, ETC. STRAIGHT AS AN ARROW. GARAGE KEPT SINCE 1983 THE 71000 MILES ARE PLEASURE USAGE - NO HARD DRIVING OR USING AT HOME DEPOT. YOU WILL BE HARD PRESSED TO FIND A TURBO ZX MODEL OF THIS CALIBER, AS THEY ARE FEW AND FAR BETWEEN. A few high clouds and trees in the background, but it's all reflected in the depth of the finish. Have all of the books, window / build sticker, paperwork, tools, and spare w/ canister. ( see pic ) I get more thumbs up with this little Z car than with other higher $ cookie cutter sport cars. A/C was converted and heater core replaced. 1983 ( built 1/83 ) Datsun / Nissan 280ZX Turbo T-top 5 spd. - Very rare and desirable Cadet Blue metallic w/ Turbo stripe package and climate control a/c. 83 was the last year of this timeless classic which makes it all the more special prior to changing over to the 300 version. The original Cadet Blue metallic metallic paint shines like the garaged car it is. The moldings, handles, window glass, lettering, t-top panels, covers, rubber seals, and all other exterior features are in tremendous condition. The wheels are shiny clean and the BFG tires tires have 75% tread. It drives straight down the road with zero issues. Never intentionally driven in rain or in Winter conditions. On the inside, the 2 tone gray suede / blue interior still looks, feels and smells sweet. As you can see in the pics, the seats, carpet or any other interior panels have no wear. The door trim, t-top bags, headliner, rear hatch panels, inserts, dash ( 0 cracks ), center console, faceplates, etc. are stock orig. and all of the interior buttons / switches - power windows, door locks, antenna, window defog, cruise, hatch release function as they should. The orig. stereo / speakers sound great and the clock keeps perfect time ( see pic ). All of the lights / gauges function as they should. Mechanically, it starts, idles, and drives as you would expect of a preserved item. The engine compartment is stock / unmodified and servicing is up to date - a/c, belts, coolant, fluids all changed / maintained at the proper intervals, The 5 speed tranny shifts softly and it performs on all levels. The Turbo spools out just as new - 5-7 lbs. of stock boost. Never been driven hard and it shows. The talking voice warning system still speaks. he a/c is blistering cold and it stops on a dime. All of the other mechanical functions are on point. LOW BALL OFFERS, DREAMERS, AND PARANOIA WILL BE IGNORED. FINDING THIS CAR IS LIKE LOOKING FOR A "diamond in the ruff."
