Timing belt tensioner went on my buddy's Frontier, so belt was stretched and jumped timing. Possible that it just needs a new timing kit, or the engine could be toast since the VG33ER is an interference engine. However, he was going downhill and was off of the throttle when it lost power, so you may get lucky. Started to disassemble it, but have zero time as of now and he wants it gone.
