Up for auction is a one owner 2001 Ford Crown Victoria (P71) Police Interceptor with the factory street appearance group (never a black and white unit) that was used as a detective car with only 62,490 original miles. The car comes with a clear California title and has just passed a California smog test inspection (inspection report included). The car is sold without license plates. This vehicle is equipped with a 4.6L SEFI V8 gas engine, electronic automatic overdrive transmission, 3.27 traction-lok rear axle, silicone coolant hoses, air conditioning, cruise control, AM/FM stereo radio, anti-lock brakes, tilt wheel, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, power trunk release, rear window defroster, cloth split bench seat, and driver/passenger side air bags. The car is clean and in good overall condition for being 15 years old. This car runs and drives well and has not been involved in any major accidents. It’s a rust free California vehicle that still retains most of its original factory paint. Both left side doors were repainted in 2013 as a result of a minor accident. The tires and brakes are good. Everything on the car works except for the trunk light. The floor above the transmission (between the front seat and dashboard) has some small holes from mounting a police radio and the headliner above the rearview mirror has two holes in it from mounting a light. The dome light does not work when the doors are opened but does work when using the headlight switch. The vehicle comes with the factory jack, spare tire and two keys. No other parts or accessories come with this vehicle. This vehicle is owned and operated by a municipality and has always received regular preventive maintenance. Included with the sale are the service/repair records for the car dating back to 2001, and original window sticker. Scheduled inspections of the vehicle may be made prior to the close of the auction. Full payment is due within seven (7) days from close of auction. The vehicle will not be released until payment has been received and cleared. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pick up and registration. We are unable to provide shipping quotes or locate/select a shipper. Vehicle must be picked up within 15-days from close of auction.
