You are bidding on a 2006 model Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe with the 6 speed manual transmission and the 3.6 litre 325 hp water-cooled flat-six engine. This vehicle was purchased through Carmax auctions for the intent of repairing the engine and re-selling but I have decided to sell the car as-is in its current condition. The engine has very noticeable engine noise as it runs (please watch attached video) The car has various dings and scratches throughout (please see photos/video) Tires have more than 50% tread life and are in great shape. Air bag light is on. As far as I know, everything else works properly on this car including the AC.There is a small oil leak from the drain plug on the oil pan underneath the engine compartment and the engine does not smoke. The buttons for the hood and trunk releases are both missing (see photo) This Porsche is a project and by no means road worthy due to the engine noise. We are not 100% sure of the failure on this engine but strongly believe that it may be piston slap due to cylinder wear or possibly IMS (InterMediate Shaft) bearing failure.
