So, I'm selling several of my bikes, this is the next. 1986 Honda Z50R. RESTO-MOD. The following was completed approx. 5 years ago. -Frame blasted, primed and powder coated -Replacement gas tank, primed and painted (soom damage to clear from gas, see photo) Custom Honda tank emblem in red to compliment frame color. -Original fenders sanded primed and painted -New steering head bearings -New swingarm bushings -Custom risers added for aftermarket handlebar. These were striped, primed and powdercoated. -New FAST MINI'S Handlebars -New FAST MINI'S Handlebar pad -New DURY grips -New MAGURA Throttle -New Brake lever/Master cylinder -New front fork with disc brake. -Fork powder-coated. -New aftermarket wheels. Front is mounted. Never got around to changing the rear out. Will require drilling for hub bolt pattern on 84 rear hub. -New tires -New tubes -New "Monkey Seat". Larger size vs. original is more comfortable for adults. ;-) -New "Kill" switch installed. -New KEIHIN carb (OE Honda part) & pleated air filter -New fuel line and fuel filter -New Stainless Steel exhaust -New Aluminum oil dip stick. -New Chain -New Shocks (Much bigger and stronger than original OE) -New Coil and spark plug wire & cap. -New rear brake shoes -New Stainless Steel engine bolt kit installed. -New right side engine cover and gasket (OE Honda parts) -New Drag Specialties speedometer. It has wiring for a internal light. This is not hooked up. I might be forgetting something, but essentially that is it. Lots and lots of new pieces on this little guy. To the best of my knowledge, the motor is original. I didn't rebuild it. Points, condenser and plug were replaced along with carb, coil and plug wire. Frankly, its been ridden maybe 5 hours since completion. My daughters lost interest. The gas has been drained during the off seasons. Full disclosure, It takes a LOT of kicks to get it started. I start on full choke and run it on 3/4 choke for a while...but once it is warmed up it runs pretty good... but definitely could use a little carb tuning? New plug? Not sure. I don't have the time to mess with it so I'm selling "as is." The clutch-less 3 speed works fine. Some have suggested to me to switch the Honda engine out with a larger aftermarket one. That's for the new owner to decide. No warranty expressed or implied. Most of the work is done here. Its was fun to do. Its a cool little bike and It will make a fun toy for the next owner. NO TITLE.
