1970 Buick GS 455 4 Speed rare car worth restoring.Well I just finished up a 1970 Buick GSX with an automatic and had great plans to restore this car because I always wanted a 4 speed Buick GS, however I have my sights set elsewhere so I am offering someone a great car and hard to find rare GS a chance to to give it the restoration it deserves.I will let you know everything I know but please ask questions as I may have left out details you need.This car is believed to be original paint as well as everything else on this car with the exception of the engine which the original owner had replaced under warranty.It is believed to have 60k original miles on the car and not registered since 1975.This car was found in a barn where the rear was on the dirt floor which is why the trunk area is completely gone and the rear of the frame in rusty but repairable shape.Surprisingly tho the floors are solid,I believe all the panels on this car are savable except maybe the trunk lid and it looks like some mice got into the hood and there are a couple rust holes on the underside.this car appears to have never been taken apart except for the engine replacement back in the day.The engine is froze up but there was antifreeze in car so I believe rebuildable but not guaranteed as I have not taken out and apart.I have had it up on a hoist and the engine retains oil and antifreeze.The transmission shifts through all its gears and has the original that came with the car.Car looks scaley underneath but like I said floors are solid.Original console is there and in good condition ,all the original interior is present even the radio.Car was a 4 speed with no power steering a race car in its day.Believe it or not I am selling with no reserve I believe the car will reach its value as Buicks are becoming one of the hottest muscle cars on the market.Please email all questions winner is responsible for shipping and car is as is,,you are welcome to inspect in person or send someone so you are satisfied I am here to sell this car not get into an argument over opinions.I need a non refundable 500.00 deposit 24 hours after auctions end and the balance within a week I can hold car for awhile but please let me know your time frame so I can agree.Dont let this slip away 4 speed Buicks just were not abundant.
