We are an RV dealer in the mountains of Western Maryland. You are looking at a non-RV that we took on trade towards an RV. It is a privately-owned unit that was traded in to our dealership - it is NOT something we bought at an auction, it is NOT a repo, it is NOT a salvage piece. We avoid items like those, for the same reason you do - you just don't know what you're getting. But if a customer wants to trade an item like this in, towards an RV purchase...well...equity is equity, and if we think we can sell it, we'll take it on trade! I miss my LX... I used to have a Magnum R/T, but then a woman ran a stop sign and T-boned it, totalling the car. Driving this 300 made me realize how much I missed that car! This 300 may not be perfect...but that's why we've got such a great price on it! It's a nice solid car overall, runs great, rides great, is nice and quiet, all the power features work...if you want something that's going to make people think "wow, they spent a lot on that car, it's a nice car!", but you don't have a lot to spend...this could be your car! The only catch is, I can't sell it to a Maryland resident because it won't pass state inspection as it sits. There's a crack in the top passenger corner of the windshield - not in your field of vision, not causing any problems, just a small crack from a rock strike way up in the corner, and that's enough to keep it from passing our state's inspection. And we really don't want to get into replacing a windshield; and knowing that we haven't even checked the car over to see if it needs anything else...so we've got this one priced for a quick, as-is, out-of-state sale.  Don't be scared - I drove it, it runs and rides great! We just haven't put any tools on it - kinda like if you were buying it from "some guy" out of his driveway, after you saw it in his front yard with a sign in the window. Check out my ad below - I think you're going to like what you see, especially if you want a "luxury" car, without that "luxury" price tag! The interior on this one is nice and clean. The center armrest, and the drivers rear floormat, are the only two places I saw any signs of "dirty" - and on a nearly-white interior, that's pretty good! There are no odors. All the power stuff works like it should (I miss my heated seats!). The gauges work fine. The REC radio has steering wheel controls, and it has a space for a Navigation disc (but there's no disc in it). It is also Sirius-ready, so you can grab yourself some satellite radio while you drive once you get a subscription! I didn't see any rips or tears anywhere inside this one, and the only thing it appears not to have (compared to my old R/T) is UConnect bluetooth. Everything else is there, though, and working great! Outside has a couple rough spots - nothing too bad, but like I said, it's not a perfect car. There's a spot on the front of the hood where some acid or something took off some paint. There's a couple small nicks in the paint. The rear bumper cover (fascia) has some nicks in it, like they backed into something like a bush maybe? And there's a quarter-sized rust spot over the drivers rear wheel. But as you can see in the photos - the body is totally straight, no waves or dings, the door frames and doorsills look great, even underneath looks good! The wheels are pitting where the clearcoat came off...but most folks with these LX cars end up switching the wheels anyway, so you can either put something aftermarket on...or grab some stock wheels off someone else who already put aftermarket stuff on their car! And the tires, while they have decent tread...are showing some age. I'd drive on them, but I don't think they'd pass our strict MD inspection. Not sure about other states though.  Running-wise? I actually wondered if it was a Hemi at first. It is STRONG. Nice and quiet, good power, the autostick works perfectly either in automatic or in tip-shift mode, and the AWD is totally transparent. The only thing I noticed was an ever-so-slight stutter at highway speeds. Not even a hesitation...just a slight change in power for a split-second, then it was back. I'm thinking it just wants a tuneup - plugs, mabye a fuel filter, just regular maintenance stuff is all. I always do that when I buy a used car anyway, it's just the safe way to start ownership in my mind, and it gives the owner a good chance to get to know the car they just bought! The engine doesn't make any noises, no smells, the brakes feel good, and the ride is oh-so-nice-and-smooth. And quiet. Doors, glass, sunroof - it all fits and closes properly, no wind noises or rattles on this one.  I really do miss my LX now...these are really nice cars, and whoever gets this one is going to get some good miles out of it. Catch it up on some maintenance (tires, maybe a tuneup), fiddle with the cosmetics (rear bumper, small rust spot, acid spot, maybe the wheels)...and cruise around in your new luxury sedan!
