1988 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER FJ Heres an idea, DONT BID UNLESS you are a REAL BUYER Also, check out this auction on a real PC or tablet, not a phone to best view all the pics ! VERY LOW RESERVE !!! This Land Cruiser has been owned by the same family for over 20 yrs. ITS A TRUE RUST FREE AZ TRUCK !! Its also been well maintained mechanically for the most part by the previous owners. Belts, hoses, brakes etc where always done as needed. Then they quit using it about 6 m ago and it barely got driven. That being said, the truck was taken off road now and then and has the dents to prove it. It has several dents and some body damage from some off road adventures, but all where low impact hits. No structural damage. STILL ALL ORIGINAL PAINT and ZERO rust on the body etc. Making it much easier to fix and fix up or restore. AS is the truck runs, drives and still goes anywhere. The 4wheel dr lite has been on for about 3 yrs, not sure why. It was tagged last yr and passed AZ emissions no problem. TIRES are ready to be replaced. AC blows, but not blowing cold anymore, not sure why. DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND, apparently some people who use ebay arent smart enough to understand the rules. These cars are getting harder to find esp in this condition that are still affordable to most buyers. DRIVETRAIN: all original un modified drivetrain, basically how it came off the showroom. Its had parts replaced of course over the yrs and fixed but mostly just stock original pieces. No lifts etc. 4.0 Motor runs and sounds good, no smoke or weird noises there. Trans runs well and shifts okay too. Ive driven it so far about 30 miles around town. Odometer only shows 173k on the clock and it is original INTERIOR: take a look at the pics, all stock original blue cloth with fold down back seat.. Yeah, its seen some better days, and the front seats are dirty, rear back carpet needs replacing too. Rest of it could probably be left for a daily driver. All the PWs do work too. EXTERIOR: the body as mentioned before is still original paint so no HIDDEN damage, but it obviously has several dents around the body etc. All the glass looks good, all the doors open and close fine as does the rear hatch area. Paint is faded too in parts. SUSPENSION: the suspension --- basically all stock the way it came from the factory, but I do know bushings and shocks have been replaced over the yrs. Tires are almost bald. Check out ALL the pics below -----> it may take a full minute for them all to load if you have a slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll bar on the right side. Shows you all the good as well as any bad, hope you appreciate them. We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars and it shows. People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks on end. Having as much as the original steel on a restored car these days speaks volumes. Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what sort of surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating. People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers. I can see what it would cost to get replaced if the winner wants it done before shipping it but the winner would have to pay for it of course. I get some good deals on glass replacement thru my shop.
