1989 BMW R100GS Bumble Bee Vintage Adventure Bike R100 GS Airhead Motorcycle This iconic 1989 R100gs Bumble Bee is all tuned up and running great. It only has around 53k on it which is low for these bikes, is on the road now and has just been serviced so everything is operating as it should. It comes with the original BMW luggage (the left side is the full size not the smaller version for the exhaust), Metzler Tourance tires with plenty of tread, new Thunderchild diode board, new coil, aftermarket rear shock (probably Works or Progressive but not labeled), the original tool kit under the seat, original black and yellow saddle and a second aftermarket Corbin seat that isn't pictured. The drive shaft has just been removed and inspected and appears to be in fine shape with no major wear. The only blemish is the small dent on top of the tank near the gas cap which you can see in the photo. You can also message me for more detailed photos of the bike. I have had several airheads but I am listing this particular motorcycle for a friend who has been collecting BMW’s since the early 1970’s. It comes with a bill of sale and clean Massachusetts title signed by the previous owner. This classic beemer is ready to ride and is a fun model for adventure touring, still prefered by many as an around the world bike. This isn't a garage queen, and while it could be restored to be a show queen, it's ready to be rode hard and filthy anywhere.
