2001 Valkyrie Interstate. i purchased this Honda from the original owner last August. been sitting under a cover for the past couple of years outside before that as the previous owner was to ill to ride anymore.i had the following work done at a local dealership:Fuel tank hot tanked (cleaned) and sealedcarburetors cleaned and synchednew tires installednew sealed batteryoil/filter/final drive/radiator fluids changednew NOS Honda petcock (not Chinese copy)over the fall i detailed and cleaned the bike. been sitting in the garage since except for an occasional half hour ride. doubt if i've put 250 miles on it since service was done.starts immediately even after a month or so of not touching it, rides smooth and fast. i would not hesitate to get on this bike and ride cross country.no damage on the bike but does have some scratches on the saddlebags, some minor scratches on the tank, the seat covers are weather worn but no tears or punctures.i do have the carb covers. took them off to clean and have not reinstalled.do not have windshield.some minor weather/age related corrosion on chrome and aluminum bits, all of which i am taking into consideration regarding the price.100HP and 100FT/LBS of torque will take you, a passenger and your gear anywhere you want to go in comfort.at 61 i'm concentrating on getting a couple of vintage bikes ready for rides/shows this season. not enough room in the garage, or i'd keep this one.clear Illinois title
