This is no reserve auction. Whoever is the highest bidder wins this bike. 1970 Honda CT70. Trail 70. Candy Ruby Red. 3-speed automatic clutch transmission. All parts are the original equipment as far as I can tell. The tool kit, tail light assembly, rubber battery strap and rubber battery cover are missing. The bike rolls smooth and straight. The cranks shaft turns when kicked. There is compression. There is oil in the crankcase. I do not know if it will run. The brakes work. The shocks work, but are meager in terms of travel. I do not know if it has spark. The tires hold air. The battery is dead. The seat sheet metal pan is damaged (cracked) near the rear end of the seat from being used to lift the bike. The bike has been stored inside an outdoor metal garden shed for the past thirty years. Since the shed was not insulated, it did not prevent the bike from rusting. The shed did provide protection from UV rays that would accelerate the deterioration of the rubber, plastic and vinyl components. There is no pink slip or title, The vehicle was last licensed and registered in 1978 in Southern California. It is being sold with a bill of sale only. No warranty. No returns.
