Continuation from above. This car runs drives great for a former WV state police car. ONLY major Issue is the reverse it weak / intermittent. Transmission shift fine in all other gears and is super fast on the highway. Killer acceleration 30-60mph range. However the reverse is weak / some time shudders and at other times engages completely. Trans fluid clean and clear. I don't think the transmission is shot but the reverse is an issue. A former ford tech diagnosed as bad or faulty torque convertor / reverse solenoid. I have considered changing the toque converter myself but I have two other vehicles with issues. The dash cluster was replaced with a 2008 model and has an alarm indicator for engine issue but all gauges read accurately. Two full size rims included I want to be up front and clear about the reverse issue so bidder is aware. I have been using this car as a daily driver and just drove it to Washington DC and back to Charleston, WV with no issues other than the reverse. A veteran mechanic or hobbyist may want to take on this project. I am pretty burn't out on cars not willing to take on the challenge. The engine is in great shape. This car could be a simple fixed or broken down for parts? Please ask lots of questions before bidding.
