US AND CANADIAN BIDDERS PLEASE NOTE; BECAUSE OF SIMPLIFIED CUSTOMS-REQUIREMENTS NO LONGER AN OFFICIALPASSPORT IS NEEDED FOR SHIPPING.BECAUSE OF THIS A VALID-CORRECT ID.-CARD OF DRIVERS-LICENSE IS ACCEPTED AGAIN BY AUTHORITIES IN ORDER TO IDENTIFY THE RECIPIENT. That the 'dawn of motoring' took place in France is a fact where not many of us are familiar with. The company 'Monet & Goyon' was formed in 1917 by Joseph Monet and Adrien Goyon. It began manufacturing invalid carriages for disabled WW1 veterans. In 1920 they became agents for the British Autocycle company and then in 1922 produced their first motorcycle. During the 1920's they built an excellent reputation for sporty flat tank bikes such as the Z147 and Z175. Monet & Goyon had considerable racing success including winning the Bol D'or six times between 1927 and 1948. They produced a wide range of models until closure in 1959. The factory was in Macon one hour north of Lyon, France. This very stylish 1935 Monet & Goyon M11 model is a motorcycle that is also in Europe hardly ever on offer. In optical way the motorcycle looks very distinctive, though the paint is old/not nice and clearly showing traces of age and use (patina). The former owner has recently checked the engine through inside and out, where during this process it has been thoroughly cleaned, repaired and gaskets have been replaced. The result of this is that the engine fires instantly and is now really running like a watch! Furhtermore the gearbox, clutch, lights and brakes are working fine, where also both the tires and inner tubes (both in the rare French 600x55 size) have been recently renewed by original (newly made) old style Michelin ones, which makes that the bike is ready for instant use. This motorcycle comes with an official European Certificate of Origin which document will be issued in your name and states the make, model, year of manufacture, displacement, weight etc, plus an official bill of sale from my company here in Belgium. Furthermore I’ll make sure that all the correct export-paperwork will be in place before the bike leaves from here, which documents will make the process of importing it into the US an easy ride. -On this listing I’m offering a special (fully sealed) crate, careful packing and physical shipping from here in Belgium to a US CFS as close as possible to you at my expense, meaning that I will pay for having the bike crated and all handling etc. plus the ocean-freight charge, where you are responsible for all charges at your (US) end, like entry fees, port, handling and eventually broker fees etc.If you want any additional information about this, please ask before you place a bid. Furthermore, when you want to receive some better photo's of the trike/shipping, or want to recieve more information about this item, just let me know. I accept PayPal payments. -Additional information to this listing; I only offer shipping by sea, where of course we can advise you on forehand about the process of importing the machine into your country. When you are the high-bid buyer, I will ship this machine at my expense from here to one of the following Canadian destinations; -Calgary ALB-Charlottetown PEI-Edmonton ALB-Halifax, NS-Moncton NB-Montreal-Ottawa ONT-Quebec City QUE-Regina SAS-St. John's NF-Toronto Vancouver BC-Winnipeg MAN ..To one of over 60 US destinations, Or to another destination (please check whether I can ship to there before you place a bid). For Canadian buyers, check this link regarding importation; https://www.tc.gc.ca/eng/motorvehiclesafety/safevehicles-importation-1338.htm For US buyers, like can be read in the link, this antique combination is because of age exempt from US import-duty and EPA regulations; https://help.cbp.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/278/~/importing-classic-or-antique-vehicles-%2F-cars-for-personal-use The crate will safely sail in a sealed container and the shipment is fully insured for eventual damage/loss.I always pack bikes myself, only use certified crates plus new packing-materials and deliver the crated machines in person at the Antwerp warehouse of the shipping-company (see images) Furthermore I pay for having every shipment insured against damage or loss during the complete process of handling and sailing. Of course I will inform you about the complete process of shipping and provide you all the information you need from the beginning on and send you pictures of the process of packing and actual delivery at the Antwerp port as soon as these processes are completed.
