[My apologize to those who were interested in this cycle on the previous listing, however upon a ride a few days prior to the auction ending I detected an unfriendly sound from the clutch when taking off from a stop. It was just occasional and only from a stop. I am determined not to sell something that I know has a problem. To that end I canceled the listing until I found the problem. I removed the clutch, inspected it saw nothing wrong except a slight roughness in the thrust bearing (throw-out bearing in the old days). Installed a new bearing, new oil seal and gasket. ALL IS GOOD. No more noise, nice and smooth]. 1986 Honda Goldwing Aspencade SEi. Top of the Honda offering in 86. Has electronic fuel injection, cruse-control, self leveling air suspension, stereo/casset player, CB (powers up but no sound), cornering lights (have been converted to running lights, easy to change back). There are some scratches as shown, the trunk bottom is broken (but has been repaired with metal and is solid), there is a replacement trunk bottom among the many extra parts. Work done; (My winter project) 2011-rebuilt front forks, replaced front wheel bearings and seal removed engine, polished crank, installed new main/rod bearings, gaskets and seals. 2013-removed engine, installed new clutch plates, new output shaft bearing and seal. 2014-New brake pads (front and rear), rear wheel bearings and seal, new gel-sel battery, new air filter. New steering stem bearings and shield, new Michelin Commander ll tires (front & rear), new wrap-around windshield, rebuilt rear shocks & installed new outer rubber boots. 2016-installed new thermostat, thermal radiator fan switch, radiator cap, new coolant, changed oil filter & oil. (And now a new clutch thrust bearing, oil seal and clutch cover gasket). No doubt I'm forgetting some things. Also many extra parts, some difficult to come by, (see picture, can supply list if needed). Miles will change, I still ride. As always it's best to see the item in person. Must be picked up.
